I’m Lara McKeithan, Founder & CEO of Pier Marketing. Back in 2017, while working at 500 Startups, I had the incredible opportunity to meet and mentor dozens of startups from around the world. These founders were diverse and inspiring, but a common challenge kept surfacing—the need for traction to secure funding, and the need for funding to gain traction. This issue was especially pronounced for those not based in Silicon Valley or from underrepresented demographics.

Mentoring startups in 30-minute sessions was rewarding, but it left me wanting to do more. I wanted to roll up my sleeves and get hands-on, helping founders more deeply. With my background in digital marketing and a passion for startups, I founded Pier Marketing (formerly Pericus Ventures).

Since then, we've developed a business model and pricing structure designed to meet our clients where they are and help them grow to Series A and beyond. We've helped dozens of startups connect with their target audience, achieve their best sign-ups, raise funding, and build thriving businesses—and we’re just getting started.
